A fantastically rich resource box full of useful vocabulary in context. Some of my colleagues found the vocabulary mix on the back of the cards a bit random (i.e. not like your average GCSE list) but this strikes me as much more realistic than any of the GCSE lists. We currently use the box as a permanent fixture in the classroom for whoever has finished a given task. These pupils then get to pick a card, and they are fighting over the privilege! It is astounding how much can be learnt by just looking closely at an interesting visual stimulus. Three cheers to the makers of this valuable teaching tool!
